The Bangkok Statement on Language and Inclusion is the output of the 3rd High-level Policy Forum on Multilingual Education convened in parallel to 6th International Conference on Language and Inclusion, on 25 September 2019, Bangkok, Thailand.

Official delegates from 16 Asia-Pacific countries endorsed the Bangkok Statement on Language and Inclusion which represents a key development in governmental commitment to including languages spoken by minority, migrant and refugee communities in the formal and informal sectors, with particular relevance to early childhood literacy.

The document is available in English, Indonesian, Khmer, Malay, Myanmar, Sundanese, Tetum and Thai. Please help us promoting the statement by sharing and translating into many different language(s).
